This are wayyyyy overdue, but as many of you know, I spent 7 weeks of this past summer in China! I wasn’t able to upload pictures while I was there, so here’s a photo dump of some of my favorite memories. I got to spend a lot of quality time with my extended family in Suzhou, which is known as the “Venice of China,” and as you can see, the views are truly breathtaking. We traveled a bit to some neighboring cities, and made a trip to the capital in July. There were crowds of people EVERYWHERE in Beijing, so I didn’t get a lot of quality pictures. I would say that the Great Wall and the Forbidden City is worth going to once, and maybe only once, in a lifetime… LOL 😛
I’ll spare you the obnoxious food pictures, but if you followed me on Snapchat, then you know that I basically ate my way through China. Even though the cuisine was incredible, the best part of my trip was definitely when my friend, Soumya, came to visit me in my hometown. She was only in town for a few hours, but I got to be her tour guide and translator, and had an absolute blast.
Hope y’all had an incredible summer, and an even better back-to-school season!
P.S.: I’m blonde now ??!?!!?&$@# (blog post coming SOON)
