Happy Blogiversary <3

Today marks the one year anniversary of TheCynCity!!!! WOW, it’s crazy how time flies…Even though I really should be writing my ethics paper for my management class right now, I wanted to take some time to reflect back on this past year.

As some of you may know, I was very hesitant about starting a blog since it was an entirely foreign territory. I didn’t own a DSLR camera, and had zero experience with WordPress. The learning curve was definitely steeper than I had imagined, and to be honest, I considered giving up at many points. Fortunately, there were people who were willing to help me out every step of the way, and friends who were there to catch me when I fell.

Fast forward to a year later, I cannot imagine where I would be if I hadn’t taken that leap of faith, and shared my passion project with the world. Although blogging has opened many doors for me, I will forever be most grateful for the people that I got to meet along the way. Some have become my mentors and role-models, and others, lifelong friends.

And of course, none of this would have been possible without each and every one of you, so before this gets too emotional, I just wanted to say from the bottom of my heart; thank you, thank you, thank YOU! <3
