I never thought in a million years that I would be writing the “About” page of a fashion blog, and I’m still not quite sure what I’m supposed to say. As a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin, none of my academic involvements reflected an interest in the fashion or beauty industry. I studied Management Information Systems & Business Honors and minored in Applied Mathematics. Despite my quantitative background, I’ve always had an affinity for writing and piecing together aesthetic elements on a page (or on a clothing rack). I started fashion blogging as a means to escape the dreaded Sophomore Slump, but it quickly became a new obsession and creative outlet.

Personal style changes over time and is extremely subjective. I hope that my blog can provide a little bit of inspiration for some of you, and I am also using it as a platform to document my fashion evolution. I will try to be as transparent as I can in the “Outfit Details” section below each post, linking items/stores whenever possible, and providing alternatives for unavailable products.
